The due South zine I contributed to a while back now has an online version. Serge Protector features stories from me, Kellie Matthews, Te, Aukestrel, Crysothemis, Meghan Black, necessary angel, LaT, Andre, Sandy Steiner, Surfgirl, Mairead Triste & Bone. Plus graphics and a highly scenic cover.
Has life been lacking a certain challenge lately? Come on over to Te's Challenge Land site at http://strangeplaces.net/challenge/ for fic inspired by you-know-what. Here are some of my thoughts on what it would be like as an amusement park, as inspired by the first challenge, the "Krycek as fandom's little black dress."

Alanna does a literary criticism of "Paradox II: The Willing Victim" (and other people's stories too <g>) at http://alanna.net/explorations/
See what "Domesticated" (and some other authors' slash fiction) looks like in German on the Ratfinks Page. http://www.fortunecity.de/tatooine/godzilla/52/ratfink.htm
Randomness:
Television Without Pity features funny, often scathing reviews of a truckload of shows' episodes, and a lively web forum. For example, Omar contributes hilarious, slashy reviews of Smallville. For web forums, I especially recommend the "Homoeroticism, Yay!" thread currently going on in various shows' forums. Miss Alli's reviews of The Amazing Race got me into the show.
MangaCity: Manga to download!
The snarky but loving SadHOO - SadGeezers Guide to Cult Science Fiction has multitudinous resources, though I mainly go there for the Andromeda reviews. His description of the data transfer scene in "The Sum of Its Parts" alone is worth the trip.
My usual search engine: Google.
Pop the perpetual bubble wrap at http://www.urban75.com/Mag/bubble.html.
Big Finish Productions offers original Doctor Who audio adventures featuring the actual actors. When I ordered the two-CD adventure "Phantasmagoria" last year, I paid about $23 total including shipping and handling. Not bad. "Loups-Garoux" was gloriously cheesy, but a lot of fun. This is probably what radio shows were like, except that the CDs let you skip around wherever you'd like.
Can anything destroy marshmallow Peep eyes? Scientific testing says no. Check out http://www.learnlink.emory.edu/peep/ for the frightening details.
Lileks has plenty of goodies, though my favorites to read are in the Institute of Official Cheer section ("Where the Past comes to Life -- so we can promptly Beat it to Death Again"). The Gallery of Regrettable Food is a tour through Satan's vintage recipe books. Interior Desecrators features the horror that was 70s' interior design. The patterns, the patterns.... Become an expert aficionado of merdework. How can you go wrong with 1001 Wretched Ideas for Living Rooms Drenched in Fear? How can you resist descriptions like: "The crappy abstract and the chair don't just clash, they exchange rocks and rubber bullets"? Likeks also has sections devoted to antique postcards, fading painted signs, and exactly the kind of New York City architectural details I love. And please check out The Gobbler Motel & Supper Club. It has to be seen to be believed.
